Can I add flashcards to a set I previously created?

I started creating a deck of cards yesterday and realized there were more cards from the same lesson that I needed to add. I see an edit button which allows me to change what is there but no way to add new cards to the same deck. Is this possible?

    Hi sethhill,

    Are you wanting to add flashcards to a deck using our mobile app or website? If using the website, you should be able to locate a '+ New Card' button when viewing a deck and editing it. Hitting the tab key on your keyboard will also add a new card.





    If using the mobile app, new cards are unfortunately not able to be added to previously created decks at this point in time. We do hope to allow for this in the future but for the time being, you should be able to add to decks using our website.

    Hi Katie,

    Thanks for the response. Yes, I am working on the website. I thought I'd leave a response if this is viewable in the user community. The +New Card button only appears when I'm initially creating the deck. Once I save it and leave that button goes away. What I did find though was that when I return to the deck if Im looking at the list of cards to the left I can mouse over the divider lines between the cards and then I get the option to add new cards. This wasn't initially easy to find or intuitive. I found it by mistake.

      Hi Seth,

      Thank you for following up. That is strange that you are not seeing the '+ New Card' button after coming back to a deck. It should be available all the time once you have created a deck. When scrolling to the bottom of the listed items in your deck, you do not see the '+ New Card' button? Does selecting the last card in your deck and hitting tab on your keyboard not generate a new card either? Have you tried accessing StudyBlue in a different Internet browser to see if this problem is occurring there as well? I believe you are using Firefox 12.0, correct? I have tested a deck out in Firefox 12.0 as well but am still able to access '+ New Card'.

    Hi Katie,

    I am interchangeably using Firefox and Chrome.

    I just realized that the issue was that I was in the card deck and then within the “edit” option. That appears to have been the issue. I can add cards in the way you describe when just inside the deck but once I’m in the edit option (this is what was intuitive to me) I have to add them using the mouse over function I described in my response. I got it all figured out now. Thank you for your help.
