1To merge and study flashcard decks, save the decks you want to merge in a new Folder. You can merge as many decks as you'd like by adding them all to a new folder (or subfolder). You can then select 'Study as a Flashcards' from the row actions on that Folder. If you want to create a new deck of out of these flashcards, you will need to upgrade to STUDYBLUE+
STUDYBLUE+ members can select 'Merge into Study Guide' from the folder row action and this will create a brand new deck of all the cards within that folder while saving the existing decks.

I'd like to be able to combine two sets of flashcards, so that I can study all my material at once, without having to retype all the cards

Is it possible to test on all flashcards made in one subject? For instance, I made separate flashcard groups each week for the quizzes, but now we have a test, and I would like to test on all flashcards (but not combine them permanently)

I tried to merge this deck of cards with other chapters, but it won't let me! It will only allow me to merge with one deck that is not related to this material. I don't know why I have only one choice?
I tried anyway, at one point, I did not merge, instead, one of the deck ended up losing a card! It had 10, after so called merging, it became 9! And the other one did not gain a single card either! somehow during "merge," a card was eaten!

I have a problem merging flashcard decks. I was able to do it once. I merged a deck of two cards one of my students made with a deck of just 1 card I made. I have tried to merge more cards into that same deck I made but it doesn't seem to work. I do have a SB+ upgrade, I am using Firefox 3.6.14 on a MacBook with OSX 10.6.6. Are you only able to merge two decks and then not add any more?
On a side note... when you are logged into your account help link (the little gray FAQ) is not very evident. Maybe a menu item under the name drop down menu.

Hi Dirk,
Thanks for the feedback on FAQ, we agree and are evaluating a new design for this as well.
For merging decks, the new approach uses Class Folders. You can merge as many decks as you'd like by adding them all to a new folder (or subfolder) and then from the folder row action selecting 'Merge into Study Guide'. This will create a brand new deck of all the cards within that folder while saving the existing decks.
Hopefully this helps!
Best,

The only "Merge" feature I see is when you are in your backpack looking at your folders. It looks like I would have to upgrade to use this feature. It use to be on the free version of StudyBlue.
