The captions for my cards that have images loaded in them are getting deleted. The way this problem is working seems to be as follows:
I load an image to a card and write a caption for it. I save the card set and the image and caption will save. If I proceed to study that card set, the image and caption are properly displayed. If I then proceed to edit the card set, all of my captions become instantly deleted. This is a brand new problem and is occurring on all of my card sets, even deleting all the captions on old card sets as soon as I click edit. This is a huge problem going forward as it prevents me from making image cards with captions, a technique I employ frequently.

I just created a file of about 30 flashcards that are currently unsaved because of a "traffic surge problem" and my page has been inactive for over 13 minutes. What do I do?

When I go to log into the iPhone app, it says "A servor error or communication error has occured. Please check your internet connection and try again." It is working on the computer and I have tried restarting my phone, and redownloading the app but it doesn't seem to work for me. I really would like to use the app. Please help!

One of the set of flash cards I created is no longer available and has been deleted?

Hey! I think you guys have a bug or something. When I go to save and close my flash cards half of the definitions I wrote out are gone. The card is still there, but there is no definition. Do you know if there is anyway to fix this?

the only way I have found to solve this problem is to make your flash cards on Xcel, using 2 columns. Make your cards, save them on your computer and import to SB and save there. This way if SB loses your info, you still have it on your computer!

Hi Radisson,
We are constantly working to improve upon some of these issues that arise and appreciate your recommendation. Just so you know, we now have an export feature as well on STUDYBLUE. Click on a flashcard deck as listed in your Backpack and you will see an 'Export' option along the right hand side of the page. Selecting it will transfer your flashcard 'Terms' and 'Definitions' into a 2-column spreadsheet excluding images, audio, and some foreign language characters.
Best,

It won't let me export my work because I can't save my work.

I am trying to save "treatment field arrangements". When I try to save it says "something has gone awry. sorry for the trouble. your work was last saved one hour ago." There is a drafts folder, but only less than half of my work in it. I just tried to save something else I am working on and it was successful, however, the other one won't save for some reason.

Hi Priscilla,
It looks like we will unfortunately be unable to retrieve your lost materials from the 'Treatment Field Arrangements' flashcard deck, which we apologize greatly for. We had a small blip on the radar, which most likely affected saving as you were creating that deck but you should be able to continue adding to it as listed in your 'Drafts' folder. Let us know if it continues not to save as you build onto it.

my flashcards won't save? every 60 seconds it tells me that my cards aren't saved. what do i do now? wait it out?
-
Hi Shaun,
Are you still running into these issues with saving? Do you see a 'Drafts' folder located at the bottom of your Backpack with any recent materials inside?
Katie -

no there is not.

No 'Drafts' folder here either. I accidentally navigated away in the middle of adding some and lost all the ones I was working on. Can't really use this for exam revision if I can't trust the autosave.
Running Chrome, if it helps.-
Hi Gavin,
Apologies for the trouble this has caused. When you were creating flashcards, where did you accidentally navigate away to? If you do not see an 'All changes saved' notation underneath the title of whichever deck you are working on, you should see a 'Save' link to click. When creating flashcards, do you see this? And if so, are you able to click on it and see 'All changes saved' appear?

the new changes to SB have helped save the flashcards quite a bit.. have been making a bunch and havent lost any! Thanks for the good upgrade to SB, it has helped my studying quite a bit.
-
Happy to hear, Nancy and you're certainly welcome for the upgrade. It was definitely something we both wanted and needed to do.
Please be sure to holler at us if you ever notice anything odd and/or would like to contribute more feedback.
Take care,

Hi Nihkil,
On the right hand side of your screen when you are creating flashcards there is a "Save" button you can click.
Thanks!
