iPhone App Problems
When I go to log into the iPhone app, it says "A servor error or communication error has occured. Please check your internet connection and try again." It is working on the computer and I have tried restarting my phone, and redownloading the app but it doesn't seem to work for me. I really would like to use the app. Please help!

Hi Irene, sorry about that. Things should be up and running again. We're doing a little server maintenance, which is supposed to provide better stability in the long run, but it looks like we missed something. We're working on things right now to make sure it doesn't happen again.

I am trying to use the ipod touch app and it is telling me that " A server error or communications error has occurred. Please check your internet connection and try again." The internet connection is fine because i can access the normal study blue site from it. PLeaseeee help

Have tried to redownload the app, restart the phone. and have tried from multiple different routers/internet connections. Same error as the other two people.

Hi Nitish, I'm trying to look into the problem but I haven't been able to replicate it yet. Are you able to log in at all? When do you get the error message?

After I type in my username and hit the login button, the error arises. This problem is occurring on my ipod touch. My friend has an iPhone, and he is able to login no problem.

Hi Nitesh, We're still trying to replicate this here in house. Are you still having the issue?
We haven't been able to do it with any of our iPhones and we just tried tracked down the older iPod we have here, which has a 3 series OS on it (I think it was 3.13). Could you let us know which OS version you have on your iPod? I know it's a pain, but maybe upgrading the OS would help. -

Actually the iPod touch is OS 4.2. Perhaps it is a problem with the iPod itself (does not seem to be defective in any other way.) I will try to find a friend's ipod touch and see if it works properly. If it does not, I will consider rebooting the OS.

Thanks for the update.I have 4.1 on my iPhone, and we have 4.3 on an iPad in the office. It seems unlikely that that specific version would have an issue, but considering this is working on the devices we have in house and on your friends, I'm having a hard time coming to another conclusion. We'll continue to try to look into it, but let us know if you do update the OS or anything. Sorry for the troubles.

So I got it to work by changing the date and time of the ipod touch to correct timing. That was the issue and many other applications started to work. For some reasons the date on my ipod touch was April 7 2010 instead of 2011. It might be everyone else's problem too. Thank you.

I recently upgraded my iPhone 3GS from iOS 4.2 to iOS 4.3. Now the images of all my flashcards show blank black rectangles that take up the whole screen. Upon zooming, however, the images show correctly. But I don't want to have to zoom all the time to see the images.

On the iPod/iPhone app for StudyBlue, powerpoint documents do not show up at all except for images attached to the slides.

with the studyblue app for iphone/itouch, it cuts off the note card and i cannot view all the material on the card.

Try these things: Delete and reinstall your studyblue app (sometimes this helps me fix other app problems).
Try to refrain from going over the text limit on your terms and definitions (I suspect this may have something to do with it, although I am skeptical.)
I only had this problem (thusfar) with one set, which has a lot of pictures and mostly likely had a lot of text limits exceeded.
When i contacted studyblue about the problem, I was asked whether I had a lot of pictures in my deck; so i suspect that pictures may pose some type of problem, although I have no confirmation.

Hi,
My app keeps crashing. Now to the point that it won't even load up. I have hard reset my phone and made sure i have the most current version of studyblue.

I have a huge test on Monday. Spent hours making this deck and now the app won't boot up at all. I feel like I wasted so much valuable time. I need to be able to study these on the go. Pretty frustrated at the moment.

Firstly, I have the most up to date iPod software installed on my device.
When doing a flashcard session, studyblue is consistently crashing random times during the session.
Also, many times when i click to zoom in to a picture at any point during the flashcard session, the thumbs up and thumbs down buttons cease to work, thus disabling me from being able to grade myself.
Because of these problems, it has become difficult to finish my sessions, and thus find out what I've been missing and getting right.
(I have faith in you to have this fixed, as the app/ service is looking very well developed thus far)

Audio doesn't seem to work on my iPhone (v4.3.5). Says "Content is unavailable or unsupported (Code102)" Should audio work on my phone? Any ideas?
Also, would love to be able to save audio for both sides of the flash card.
Love the app so far. I feel it's 95% of everything I ever wanted in a flashcard app which is really good stat cuz I'm really picky. hehe. -

I am having the same issue right now with the error retrieving data from our servers. check your internet connection...how is this fixed as i need to study the information for a test tomorrow..
